CyberSquare - Scholars Indian School Digital Fest
The IT Department, in collaboration with the Cyber Square Innovative Learning Team, hosted Digital Fest, a Tech Project Expo for innovative students to display their abilities in digital technology successfully. The tournament was divided into three stages: screening on the first level, screening on the second level, and the final round. The first level screening took place on February 10th and 11th, with 104 participants, and was based on their projects in three categories (category 1: Grade 1 and 2, category 2: Grade 3, 4, and 5, and category 3: Grade 6, 7 and 8). The second round was qualified by a total of 66 students. The final round was held on the online platform on Microsoft Teams on March 22nd from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and 30 students were chosen as winners in each of the three categories.
The Grand Finale was held as an offline event in the school auditorium on April 20th, along with a short display of all of the finalists' work. The Chairman presented certificates to all of the winners, which were made by the Cyber Square Team. Scholars Indian School is the first school in Ras Al Khaimah to teach coding and artificial intelligence to students as early as Grade 1. Every year at the end of January, a digital festival will be held here as a means of recognising young talent and giving them the support and appreciation that they need to succeed.
The Digital Fest is a one-of-a-kind event that takes advantage of all of Cyber Square's features. Both students and teachers will profit from participation in this programme. The festival includes a variety of events for students to showcase their abilities and initiatives. Students discover their passions and create their own games and websites at the digital fests. All of the activities are designed to captivate children and encourage them to think of fresh ideas. Instructors will be able to take advantage of a variety of concurrent training and certification programmes at the festival, which will act as a training ground for them.
Students will profit from Digital Fest because they will be exposed to cutting-edge technology and will have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge in areas such as artificial intelligence and coding. By giving students the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge technology, school administrators can ensure that their students are on the right track. As the students present their work, parents, teachers, and other students from various schools will have a better understanding of the school's support for students' artistic endeavors.
